Sally Morgan- Psychic Sally
A trip to a live show
First things first, I know this post has nothing to do with travel BUT ghosts or spirits or whatever you want to call them are of an interesting topic. I have always had a fascination with mythology and its creatures, influenced by fairy tales, movies and TV shows such as 'Most Haunted' and more recent 'Psychic Sally On The Road'.
For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, Sally Morgan claims she can see and talk to dead people. And recently I was lucky enough to get the last available tickets to her live audience show at St. Albans arena.
Now I am not one to say I believe in ghosts or a heaven or a hell, I was pretty skeptical when walking into the theatre with the rest of my family. The thoughts of 'this is a load of nonsense' must lye with the majority of males as 95% of the theatre was filled with women! However, trying to be open minded became easier over the roughly 2 hour live session. To begin with, on stage was a camera man that didn't say a word through the whole show! and two boxes, one box filled with photographs of loved ones and the other box filled with pieces of card that people had written on, called 'love letters' in hope that Sally would pick theirs out of everyone's.
The introduction by Sally herself was bold and energetic, also relaxed and at ease, showing no fear or anxiety. Shortly after the applause by the very enthusiastic audience Sally told us the importance of our participation and that we were there to be active, not passive but also to be there to validate the information she was receiving.Me and my family didn't receive any personal messages but witnessing other people receive them was very emotional and it must have giving them some peace of mind and hope.
During the show their were both positive and negative parts, at times their was confusion between audience members thinking that the message Sally was receiving was for them when really it was for some one else. Also Sally would receive a message that no one understood so she would move on leaving the message undelivered. However, this would happen at most 3 times out of the whole performance so even though its something not to be ignored it wasn't down to Sally's ability it was more just confusion between the audience members. Another more personal issue I had with Sally was when she was receiving a message her voice would change to a whiny child like voice which I personally found quite creepy. Plus out of these two boxes set on stage she only picked out one card and one photo hardly spending any time on them at all, which makes me question whether I believe it or not because on these things she was very vague and spent little time on them.
However, on a more positive note their were a couple of readings that really made the audience sit back and go 'oh, wow!' at the facts she was getting right, at times it got very emotional especially for those recieving the messages. However, the lengthy time spent on one person made it quite boring at times and I found myself looking at messages on my phone.
Overall, I still remain skeptical on the matter but even so, it was a good night out and Sally played a very bubbly entertaining role. I think it would be best to do a one to one reading with a psychic personally as then you will really know if they are 'receiving' information or whether they are just relaying what they have over heard.
Thanks for reading and please leave comments especially if they involve my writing because I'm just here to improve.
